Christopher Myott Art Opening Reception
Friday, August 6, 2021 – 5 to 7pm
Christopher Myott, of Jaffrey, will be the DubHub’s first featured artist since the pandemic began. He was originally scheduled for April 2020. Chris combines tools, plants, figures, and other abstract forms into oil paintings using a palette knife and other implements to manipulate and draw through the surface of the paint. He employs finishing techniques learned as a furniture maker to highlight textural elements that resemble the patina of age. His work can be viewed during the month of August at various times (coffee and conversation, and during special events).
